…Today was the day.
After seven years I came to the end of life at primary school.
But I didn’t feel sad at all when I left the gates for the last time.
Everybody else was crying when it was time to go at 3.30pm, but I didn’t feel like it.
The leavers’ assembly was an unexpected success.
Who knows: maybe we will all grow up to be famous actors and actresses!
Much of the rest of the day was spent tidying and packing up and I
came home with my bag bulging with stuff and goodies.
I’d brought my camera and I got to take a photo of the whole class…
I don’t know where any of these people are today.
This is why you need to be on Facebook. You could be getting interminable updates about the contents of their baby’s nappies and ill-conceived right wing rants from them even as we speak.
